The hours are posted on Zoho, in its original Excel format, but in HTML. This might be temporary. I am seeing if there are other options, but this seems pretty darn-tootin’ good.

Two meetings have already passed before this post, so I am late.  Plus, Andrew, your good president, has been bugging me to finish this website.  And it is functional, but not yet pretty, and not yet informative-to-the-max.

So, the events are currently being managed by gigpress, and the website is run with a smooth and jazzy install of WordPress.  The member hours are not up yet because there are few people who actually have hours, as well as my to-do list having a suspicious entry of “fix system for member hours of Interact.”

This website will loosely have the same organization as the Octagon site from the year before, which is that the front page is full of these sorts of entries, which contain the agendas of meetings, the announcements of important events, and the updates to the website itself.  There is a page for each ‘member hours,’ ‘officer profiles,’ and ‘upcoming events.’  With the member hours organized by year, event, grade, and person (but I am still working on that, sorry).

To-do:

  • Let the website exist in a semi-useful limbo.
  • Tweak gigpress to include ‘event name’ and ‘ending time.’
  • Insert post categories.
  • Find a way for the events to be displayed in more useful ways (by feed and by calendar).
  • Fix up the visual process of information organization.
  • Implement a means by which the database of hours is done.
  • Interview the officers for the completion of their profiles.
